QR Frame Designer - printable WiFi signs, payment QR signs and menu frames
A bare QR code rarely looks good on a counter, wall or table. QR Cat's QR Frame Designer turns a code into a finished sign: shop WiFi sign, payment counter sign, tip jar, menu table card, review prompt or event check-in plaque. Generate a new URL / text / WiFi QR, or upload an existing payment QR image and wrap it in a polished printable frame. Everything happens locally in your browser: images are never uploaded, no watermark, no sign-up.

QR frame ideas by use case
Need the right copy, placement and print notes? These pages focus on one real-world sign at a time.
How to use the qr frame designer?
- 1Pick a scene template: WiFi sign, payment counter, tip jar, menu card, review sign or event check-in.
- 2Choose the QR source: generate a fresh QR, or upload an existing payment/menu code image.
- 3Edit the shop name, headline, supporting line and footer note.
- 4Download a high-res PNG ready for printing, laminating, acrylic table stands or poster layouts.
Why use QR Cat's QR Frame Designer?
- Built for real places: not a naked code, but a finished QR sign with hierarchy, copy, protected white QR plate and a decorative frame.
- Payment-friendly: upload an existing payment QR and wrap it for a counter sign without rebuilding the code. The image stays local.
- WiFi sign workflow included: enter SSID and password to make a scannable WiFi sign without knowing the WiFi QR payload format.
- Scannability is protected: decoration stays in the border and sign surface; the QR sits on a clean white plate with quiet-zone room.
- Generated locally in your browser — your content never touches our servers, and we don't track scans.
- Free forever, never expires: these are static codes — your content lives inside the image itself, not on our servers. Even if this site shut down, your printed codes keep working — unlike the sites that disable your code when a trial ends and hold it for ransom.
- No watermark, no sign-up: download and go. We don't stamp a logo on your code or make you hand over an email first.
Frequently asked questions
Can I decorate an existing payment QR code?
Yes. Choose the payment counter or tip jar template, upload the existing QR image, and the tool places it in a protected QR plate before exporting a finished sign. The uploaded image stays in your browser.
Is my uploaded payment QR stored?
No. The image is read locally with the browser FileReader API, used for preview/export in the current page, and never sent to a server.
How is this different from the WiFi QR generator?
The WiFi tool is a focused printable WiFi card. QR Frame Designer is broader: WiFi signs, payment QR frames, menu table cards, review prompts and event check-in signs in one consistent template set.
Can I print the export?
Yes. The export is a high-res PNG with a clean QR backing and quiet-zone room. For production runs, print a sample and scan-test it first.
