Tip Jar QR Code — scan to tip, no more 'sorry, no cash'
Paste your payment / tip link below to generate a tip QR code for a bar table card, tip jar, gig sign, service card or creator page. Match your style color, add a logo, and make it a friendly 'Scan to buy me a coffee' card. Built locally, the link never uploaded, the code never expires.
A tip jar QR code is a URL QR code pointing at your payment link (a payment-platform pay page or personal pay profile). Paste that link into the generator below and place the code at the bar, on a tip jar, at a gig or on your creator page — people scan to your pay page and tip, no longer blocked by 'no cash, no change.'

How to make it
- 1Get a payment link or pay-page URL from the payment / tipping platform you use — confirm it opens straight to a pay / tip screen, not a page that first demands login or a search.
- 2Paste that payment link into the generator below (we add https:// if you leave it off) and scan once to confirm it lands on the pay page.
- 3Give it a warm, casual look: switch to your style color, add a small logo, and add a line like 'Scan to leave a little something / buy me a coffee' — far more inviting than a cold 'Tips.'
- 4Use PNG for bar table cards and tip-jar stickers; SVG for gig standees and large displays. It works best placed where service just ended and mood is highest.
- 5Before putting it out, scan with someone else's phone to confirm it goes to the pay page and an amount can be entered and paid — so people who want to tip don't get stuck halfway.
Frequently asked questions
Can QR Cat collect the money for me?
No, and we never touch your money. We only turn your existing payment link into a QR code; all collection happens in your own payment platform, the money goes straight to your account, and we neither handle nor see any transaction. All we make is the image.
Are there fees when someone tips by scanning?
That depends on your payment / tipping platform, not the QR code — some platforms take a small fee from the recipient, some are free. Check the rate in your own platform and, if relevant, note it beside the code to stay transparent.
I switched payment accounts or platforms — does the old code still work?
The old code still points to the old link. If the new account gives you a new payment link, you'll need to regenerate the code and swap the old one. To avoid reprinting when you switch platforms later, point the code at a redirect you control and just change the target — the code stays the same.
Under the hood this is a URL QR code — see that page for the full how-to on this content type.
